Interview with Tamytation – Part 1

Today we welcome a very special personality for an interview, someone who hasn’t been in the business for very long but has already attracted plenty of attention: Tamytation – a young woman who brings her very own story into erotica, adding her personal touch. How do you feel knowing that you will now be answering personal questions here, some of which might be uncomfortable?
It’s actually not that bad for me, because pretty much everywhere and almost always I’m just the way I am. I don’t pretend or try to be someone else.

Let’s start with your past and look back at your childhood and teenage years. Where did you grow up? Would you say your parents gave you a beautiful childhood? What was the best experience from your childhood that has stayed with you until today? What kind of child were you? Sweet and shy? Cheeky and daring? How do you look back on puberty? Where do you see big personality changes you went through as a teenager? Are there certain influences from the past that shaped who you are today?
I actually grew up in the Ludwigsburg area, and I had a very nice childhood. One event that stayed in my mind was my first — and until recently only — flight to Spain (Mallorca). Funny story: whenever it was time to eat, my plate was taken away because I couldn’t sit still and was always running around. I think I was a really sweet kid for a while, but during puberty I was, I believe, extremely exhausting and definitely not easy. I did a lot of stupid things and had quite a stubborn head. My parents definitely didn’t have it easy with me. I think my personality definitely changed in my teenage years. I became stronger, but also more vulnerable, and I think my self-confidence took quite a hit. But despite everything, I’m glad I experienced things exactly the way I did, and that I’m now the person I am.

After school you trained as a painter and varnisher. What attracted you to what used to be a typical “men’s job”? Skilled craftsmanship is still clearly visible with Tamytation today, but what made you choose a career path in a (still) male-dominated industry? Was it maybe exactly that — the fact that you would mostly work with male colleagues? Do you see a possible connection to your erotic job?
I actually only came up with the idea of learning painting and varnishing because my father is also a trained painter and varnisher, so I got a lot of insight into the profession — and I was never the typical girly girl. I was always the one with dirty clothes, always the one helping out, and I mostly had boys as friends because girls were just too catty for me. So the profession simply fit well. After several internships I realized that it suited me and that I had a lot of fun with it. And of course, having only male colleagues was a nice side effect, and I must say, I was always the most popular trainee. Everyone wanted to go to the construction site with me. I’ve always enjoyed drawing attention and playing with men. I just like it when I notice that men find me great or attractive. Yes, I like playing with my charms.

At some point you met your ex-boyfriend and father of your child. You moved to Switzerland. Shortly after came COVID, when you and your partner created your first pornographic livestreams, right? How did you come up with that? What was the deciding factor that made you show yourselves in front of a live camera? Were there doubts, fears, or feelings of shame? What was the first time like for you, showing yourself so uninhibitedly to strangers? Or wasn’t it all that uninhibited?
Yes, that’s exactly how it was, and we actually started doing it just for fun. We were new in Switzerland, we didn’t know anyone, it was winter and boring, so we simply started — and somehow it became a lot of fun for me very quickly. At first, I actually felt bad that I enjoyed it. But then I realized I didn’t have to feel bad at all. The main reason I eventually showed myself in front of the camera was, I think, that I didn’t want to hide anymore. I didn’t want to pretend for anyone — especially since I already had a huge slutty reputation in school and already believed back then that it was nobody’s business what I do in my bed or what I do at home or in general. It simply doesn’t concern anyone, and that’s what I wanted to prove — to myself and to everyone else.
Of course there were doubts and fears, and it took a while for those to go away. At first I did everything undercover, and eventually it came out what I was doing — and that was a pretty tough time. I think that’s why I am the way I am now. I’m glad it came out, and I’m glad there were so many people who were horrible to me, because it showed me even more that I don’t have to care what others think as long as I’m doing something that makes me happy and as long as I can be myself. And I must say, it actually wasn’t difficult for me to show myself so uninhibitedly at the beginning. I just felt free.

When and why did you make the leap to Tamytation — entering the erotic world as a solo model and spicy-content creator? You came in like a fire that spread quickly. Your photos and clips rapidly made their way across the most famous erotic platforms. On top of that, you work as an erotic reporter and openly answer public questions. You also spread funny clips that don’t rely solely on erotic backgrounds. And not least, during your second visit to Venus 2024, you won the award for Best Newcomer. That’s an incredibly fast career. How did you do it? Did you have professional support? Is it in your nature to make yourself widely visible? What made you gain a foothold in the erotic industry so quickly?
I have to say, I’ve always been someone who does things either all the way or not at all. I’ve always wanted to be a person who achieves something in life — not just anyone, but someone people actually know. Someone where, when you hear the name, you think, “I’ve heard that before.” Ideally, you immediately know who it is. That has always been my goal. I always wanted to go full throttle, and I still do. I genuinely want to become well-known in the scene. I want people to know my name, and I work very, very, very hard for that. As I’ve probably mentioned, I love my job. I love almost everything I do and feel incredibly comfortable with it.
I did have some support — from Vika Models, for example — and I’m very grateful for that. But in the end, I usually do what I feel is right, and so far it has worked very well. I’m also willing to work very, very hard to achieve what I want.

For some girls, entering the erotic and porn industry is difficult, for others less so. How was it for you? You had experiences with your ex before becoming Tamytation, but being a camgirl — stripping for strangers and getting aroused in chats — is a different story, especially because not every guy is nice or respectful. Do you remember how you felt at the beginning? Was there any online encounter that made you doubt whether this was the right job for you? Or have you always been the confident young woman who can handle uncomfortable situations well?
Honestly, I was able to ignore stupid comments from random people pretty quickly. At least I can’t recall any event in the beginning that made me doubt what I was doing or made me feel insecure. In that regard, I’ve always been strong — and I still am.

As Tamytation, you are extremely active today, mostly publicly visible with content as a solo performer — aside from a few “snapshots” with friends/colleagues or interview partners. But what about porn since the separation from your ex? You have pay-content that only your followers can access for a fee. Why should they? What do you show there? Is there pornography of you? How would you describe your pay-content in your own promotional words?
I do a lot of solo content, but I actually also have a lot of content with a partner — up to three men — and of course my favorite videos with my girls. Yes, you can find a lot, a lot, a lot on my page. There’s very, very little you won’t find. I also really love making custom content and I’m honestly open to pretty much anything. I would describe my content as a hot, colorful mix of everything imaginable, yes.

Besides your erotic content as Tamytation, you also show a lot from your private life publicly: shopping, packing your suitcase for vacation, after training… How do you manage the balance between private and professional life? Being as active as you are, your job must take a massive amount of time, right? Would you tell our readers what a normal day looks like for you and how you give yourself a break? And how do you spend your downtime?
I actually take people along with me for a lot — basically almost everything. I really enjoy doing that because I want to show that I’m just a normal person like everyone else, and it’s not difficult for me to share so much. I really enjoy it.
And yes, downtime for me is simple — I have a daughter, and every minute where I’m just being “mom,” that’s downtime for me. I enjoy every second, and in those moments I’m really just a mom.
I do set aside time just for myself occasionally — probably far too rarely — but I do it. I’m not someone who needs a lot of alone time. I love being around people, preferably lots of people, but only the ones I love.
But when I do have time for myself, what I absolutely love is spending the whole day strolling alone through the city. Headphones in, music on, just wandering around — looking at clothes, looking at people, grabbing something to eat, eating alone. I really, really enjoy that. Or I just do sports. Sports is my form of downtime.
